Former Green Bay Coach Wardle’s Bradley Team is Featured in Great ESPN Article

Brian Wardle was very successful in his five seasons as head coach of the Green Bay Phoenix. His overall record there was 95-64, which included a regular season Horizon League title and two NIT Tournament appearances. His first season at Bradley was much more challenging, as the Braves finished 5-27. But the future looks bright for them, as they are recruiting players from all over the world: Australia, Great Britain, the Netherlands, South Sudan.

International players are nothing new to college basketball. Some teams, such as Valparaiso, St. Mary’s, and Gonzaga, have become known for winning with players from foreign countries.
